It’s Winter Restaurant Week in Stamford…And So Much More!!!

We’re always happy to announce the beginning of restaurant week here in beautiful downtown Stamford, Connecticut. The event is ongoing for two full weeks, not just one! The extended time gives everyone an opportunity to sample many of the finest cuisines in the city, including Napa & Co., EOS Greek Cuisine, Ferrante, Morton’s Steakhouse, Barcelona Restaurant & Wine Bar, Chez Jean-Pierre, and many more. Visit the link below to explore the list of participating restaurants and their fine menu’s: http://www.stamforddowntown.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=144 Stamford has become quite the destination these days! Aside from restaurant week, plan on joining us throughout the lazy days of summer at our weekly outdoor music festival, Alive @ Five! This year, Alive @ Five turns downtown Stamford into an easily accessible venue for some of the hottest musical artists of today. For example, last summer’s Alive @ Five lineup included Third Eye Blind, MC Hammer, The B-52’s, Vertical Horizon, and American Idol champ, Lee DeWyze, to name a few! Visit http://www.stamford-downtown.com to keep up-do-date on the musical guests appearing this coming summer in order to plan your visit. We also need to mention how incredibly proud we are of the newly renovated Maritime Aquarium in our neighboring town, Norwalk. The exhibits include many hands-on opportunities like the Intertidal Touch Tank and the Ray Touch Pool. And you just can’t leave without visiting the Sand Tiger Shark Exhibit.
