Struggling for a spot to take a coworker to dinner? Meet for a drink? Trying to find the trendiest spot in New York, or even the oldest bar with the best cocktail in town? Have you looked at every Yelp and Zagat review under the moon trying to find the perfect place to spend the night? We have all been there. When you have worn thin the "Ask a Friend" button, we have the perfect solution for you. Le Barn recently stumbled upon an amazing feature in Bergdorfs luxury magazine...Even Chefs Make Reservations. A feature story on four of New York's best chefs and where their favorites haunts are, whether it's for their favorite menu or even the best nightcap. Enjoy! RYAN HARDY of Charlie Bird rh BRUNCH SPOT: "ABC Kitchen and ABC Cocina. They're light and airy, and you feel great" DINNER WITH FRIENDS: "I love to try new places with friends. It's good for inspiration and keeps the conversation fresh. I kit Balthazar and 15 East frequently. Looking forward to Cosme and more of Dirty French." BEST COCKTAIL: "Anything at the NoMad Bar. That place is super stylish and dangerous. If I'm there, I know I'm in for a wild ride!" POST-SERVICE NIGHTCAP: "Unquestionably Blue Ribbon - it serves oysters, bone marrow and cold beer...what else could you want? FAVORITES FROM YOUR MENU: "The live scallops, a bowl of pappardelle, roast chicken and French fries." DANIEL BOULUD of DANIEL, BAR BOULUD and more db BRUNCH SPOT: "Russ & Daughters Cafe - some knishes and latkes to start, pickles and the smoked fish board. Herring, schmaltz, sturgeon, egg...and finished with halvah ice cream. A perfect New York experience." DINNER WITH FRIENDS: "I've been looking forward to Enrique Olvera's Cosme. The uni tostada, chicharron, vegetable barbacoa all around sound wonderful to me." BEST COCKTAIL: "Wallflower in the West Village. Bartender Xavier Herit has seasonal cocktails and makes killer classics. I love the Cornelia, made with tequila, jalapeno-infused mezcal, fresh corn puree, agave syrup and lime topped with basil." POST-SERVICE NIGHTCAP: "Frankies Spuntino on Hudson Street. Always great food and a fun, relaxed vibe." FAVORITES FROM YOUR MENU: "Appetizer: croustillant of langoustes with vadouvan and cauliflower. Main: cerf de boileau, a quebecois. Dessert: the avocado vacherin." ERIC RIPERT of LE BERNARDIN er BRUNCH SPOT: "Balthazar. I usually order the steak frites." DINNER WITH FRIENDS: "A few favorites are Minetta Tavern (the burger), Serafina (the Margherita pizza), and the NoMad Bar (the chicken pot pie). I'm looking forward to going back to Dirty French." BEST COCKTAIL: "Usually wine or tequila, but if I have a cocktail, I order a Negroni - they make a freat one at The Standard." POST-SERVICE NIGHTCAP: "I have spending a lot of time at Aldo Sohn Wine Bar. Yakitori Totto is another favorite spot." FAVORITES FROM YOUR MENU: "This is impossible to answer - it's like choosing a favorite child! But I have been partial to the Dover sole lately." MARCUS SAMUELSSON of THE RED ROOSTER mark   BRUNCH SPOT: "Gabrielle Hamilton's Prune. It's cozy, the food is ridiculously good, and it feel like a little escape. And they make the best Bloody Mary." POST-SERVICE NIGHTCAP: "Sometimes we head to 67 Orange Street in Harlem, where my friend Karl Franz Williams makes the best drinks." FAVORITES FROM YOUR MENU: "Right now, I'm loving our beef kitfo, a traditional Ethiopian dish. Our shrimp & grits is also amazing. And our new pastry chef, Melissa Camacho, makes the best chocolate chip cookies - our staff is addicted."
