The “Thanks” in Thanksgiving

As the Thanksgiving season approaches, different cultures celebrate by giving thanks for the blessings bountiful harvests bring. Although this celebration may have different names in different places around the world, the central sentiment is the same. Giving thanks. In the midst of the hustle and bustle of day-to-day life, which tends to consume us most of the time, we sometimes loose sight of what’s really important. In most cases, the things to be thankful for are in our direct line of vision. At Le Barn, we’re continually reminded of what we’re thankful for, and we’d like to share some of our sentiments with you. We’re thankful for the vivid blue sky that we wake up to most mornings. We’re thankful for the warm colors of fall’s foliage, which we’ve had the joy of experiencing year after year. We’re thankful for nature’s nourishing harvest of fruits and vegetables, which we’ve feasted on over these past few months. We’re thankful for our family estate, which has cradled us in her loving arms for over 100 years. We’re thankful for the daily glimpse of wildlife, which we’ve experienced in our very own backyard.
