STAMFORD, CT – JULY 7, 2012 – Le Barn, the well-known and much respected antiques dealer, is pleased to announce the launch of its newly revamped website.

 The new site has been completely redesigned to be extremely user-friendly in a contemporary but classic web environment. The site’s homepage welcomes visitors in with several lush images that showcase Le Barn’s unique property throughout the seasons. The left sidebar displays several featured items from the latest shipment, which will rotate on a monthly basis.

The site provides easy access to their informative blog, which functions as an educational tool and reliable resource. The blog offers a host of good ideas, furniture and decorating tips and tricks, with an occasional endearing post sprinkled in relating to the property and the estate.

The gallery page displays each item in an organized and clear format. One click on any image links the customer to a short, concise product description page complete with multiple views to explore the finer details of that same item while conveniently remaining within the website.

This brief description is followed by a short list, which chronicles that particular piece’s country of origin, circa, price, and category.  The handy category list shows keywords highlighted in red, which when selected segue to a separate page showing a collection of related items.

For example, if a visitor selected the keyword “family room,” they would be transported to a page showing items that belong in a family room. This ingenious approach enriches the shopper’s experience by suggesting well-paired items that they may have otherwise missed without this clever cross-referencing function.
